Markeise Q. Washington
Born November 21, 1984 in South Philadelphia, PA, Markeise Q. Washington has been writing since he was ten years old. In late 2006 his literary journey began when he starting penning his debut novel "Entrepreneur".
With his mind set on ownership, 5ive Star Publications was born in May 2007. His goal was to cover all genres of fiction as well as children's literature.
Destined and encouraged to do great things Markeise is constantly reminded of the early and unfortunate passing of his biological mother whom is indeed
the catalyst to his success. Proactive, determined, thought provoking and intelligent Markeise Q. Washington will always and forever remind us that Dreams are today's answers to tomorrow's questions.
Lauren Morris
Lauren Morris was born in Philadelphia, but has spent most of her life living in Wilmington, Delaware. She is a graduate of the University of Delaware and is currently finishing her Masters degree in elementary education at Wilmington University.
She has worked as a teacher in both kindergarten and first grade for the past three years. Lauren enjoys traveling, cooking, and time with family and friends.
Karen Mariano Bryson
KAREN MARIANO BRYSON attended North Carolina School of the Arts. Karen is multi-talented, dancer, actress, poet, and now she adds aspiring
author to her repertoire. Ms. Bryson's passion for writing is exemplified throughout all of her work which includes poetry, children's books, as well as contemporary literature.
Karens debut children's story titled "Where's My Motorcycle" can be credited to her granddaughters for inspiration.
The travelling distance of several states between them prompted "Where's My Motorcycle" as a vehicle for
Ms. Bryson to entertain the girls with short stories and maintain a close bond between visits. Karen currently resides in Delaware.
K.L. Reeves
K.L. Reeves, a native of Trenton, New Jersey, who now resides in Miami Florida, attended Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and New Jersey Institute of Technology where he received his Associates
in Design Drafting. He is a proud and loving father of three beautiful daughters. One who attends G.S.U in Atlanta and two that are seniors in high school.
A hard worker at everything that he does, Reeves took on a challenge to see if he could write a novel, have people enjoy what he wrote, and have them wanting more to read.
His novel "The Fellowship" is one in a series of novels to come, based on one main character. It offers mystery, murder, sex, and a lot of twists.
J.L. Whitehead
J. L. Whitehead has been writing professionally for 11 years, initially beginning his career as a contributing freelance columnist for "PGN, Incorporated" located in Philadelphia , Pennsylvania.
After writing for the publication for a year, he published his first book of poetry entitled "Universal Words."
Currently, releasing his first full-length novel entitled "Bruthas", he is looking forward to making a successful transition from his current profession, to one of being a full time author.
Victoria Vanee' Anderson
Victoria Vanee' Anderson was born in Kansas City, Missouri and raised in Seattle, Washington.
She is currently a full time student working on her communications degree. She started writing
fictional novels about 5 years ago. Her son gave her the inspiration to put her thoughts on paper.
Her debut novel Lady Vicious is set to be released in the summer of 2009.
Krystol
Krystol, a native of Delaware is currently attending Wilmington University pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Behavioral Science. Her motto is
"If you can't run jog, if you can't jog walk, and if you can't walk crawl. But by all means keep it moving". Her life has seen numerous trials and tribulations.
Her perseverance helped her craft her debut novel. Through Her Eyes is set to be released very soon.
Angel Kelley
Angel has been called to bring life to God's Word. She has embraced Christ through the lessons of life,
challenges and through the father's love. She walks in Knowing who God has called her to be.
Teaching has been her passion for many years. Angel is the visionary of Future Woman of Purpose,
where she is dedicated to the youth of today by mentoring and life coaching. She's also a certified bridal/event consultant.
Angel has been spirit inspired and has created creative AOF merchandise. She also enjoys cooking, and spending time with her husband/best friend Kevin. They currently reside in Delaware.
Rich McLaughlin
Richard McLaughlin first moved to Southbridge in 1980. All of his child hood experiences are associated with the South Side of Wilmington, Delaware.
He is the proud father of two beautiful daughters. He is a Springfield graduate with a BS in Human Services, a motivational speaker, author, and aspiring poet.
He began writing his forthcoming novel in the winter of 2006, while working and going to college fulltime. Thus, comes South Side Hustler, so sit back, relax and take a ride with Rich and the crew. Through the South Side.
Gil Trudell
Gil Trudell, a native of southern New Jersey has earned a Bachelors Degree of Arts in Economics from Saint Joseph's University in Philadelphia, PA.
While working as a financial advisor he quickly realized that Corporate America was not the right career choice. Gil knew he had to do what he loved and that was working with children. He is currently working with underprivileged and troubled youth.
In anticipation of earning his Masters Degree from Wilmington University in May of 2009 in Elementary Education, Gil Trudell combined his passion for adventure and children with his debut children's book JC and Mr. T.
Paula Green
Paula Green has spent the majority of her life in Milford, Delaware, where she developed a love for sports and poetry.
Writing her first story in first grade and publishing her first poem at the age of 14, her love grew stronger over the years.
A four-time State Champion in high school, fueled her determination to never give up on her dreams.
Currently a graduate student at Wilmington University, she aspires to become an elementary school teacher and coach.
She serves in the Delaware National Guard as a Human Resource Specialist. When not working or in school, she enjoys working out,
eating, and spending time with friends and family. Her debut childrens book "If I Had A Million Bucks" is set to be released soon.
Amore
Amore is a native of Philadelphia who now resides in Southern New Jersey with her husband and young son. She is a graduate of Trenton State College (The College of New Jersey) with a BA in Psychology.
A lifelong story teller, she has worked to put all of that energy into her novels. She is a die hard romantic and works hard to breathe life into those stories with a pen. She believes authors dont have jobs as writers;
they have a passion for writing that never quits or dies.
With her stories, she reminds us that hope is everlasting, passion is always burning and love is always possible. Her debut novel "The Temptation Of Love" will be released in 2010.
